With temperatures reaching 42 degrees C it was a steamy show at The Palace! Performing to a fantastic Far Eastern crowd of Thais, Indians and Phillippinos it was easy to see that Madonna has a truly global appeal. It was great to see so many of the audience not only singing along with the old classics such as 'Like A Virgin and Holiday', but also partying like crazy to more up to date hits like '4 Minutes and Hung Up'. We spent four days soaking up the sunshine and revelling in the atmosphere, visiting the souks and getting to know the local people. The food was amazing, especially the local delicacy, a delicious grilled fish called hammour. We'd like to thank the General Manager, Patrick Farran, for spoiling us rotten!

Just twenty miles south of Paris was the location of our performance on 12th June. After meeting the Mayor and receiving a standing ovation from a wonderfully welcoming audience, Elly and the dancers were presented with beautiful bouquets and then mobbed by about fifty little Madonna fans, all under ten years old! Despite our rusty school French we all managed to communicate enough to express our thanks and order plenty of vin rouge et blanc. The trip was topped off with a bleary-eyed breakfast in a gorgeous restaurant with a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower.
